Dr. Minakshi Patil is a versatile artist, writer, poet, filmmaker, and social activist who currently serves as the Secretary of the Maharashtra State Board of Literature and Culture. Her talent extends to filmmaking, as evidenced by her documentary film 'Social Impact of Climate Change,' which earned recognition in a World Bank competition in 2008. Dr. Minakshi Patil holds a Ph.D. from Mumbai University, focusing on an analytical study of poems by selected poets in the context of Postmodernism. Her poetry has been featured at prestigious literary gatherings like the Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan, Sahitya Academy, and Bangla Sahitya Sammelan. She has authored poetry books such as 'Is It In Your DNA' and 'Laldyadh's Lullaby,' alongside several other books and theses. Her critical study ‘Post Modernism and Marathi Poetry ‘ book was published by Popular Prakashan. Her poems are even part of the curriculum at SNDT University, Mumbai, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon and Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
