Mary Jean Chan 

Mary Jean Chan is the author of Flèche which won the Costa Book Award for Poetry and co-editor of the 100 Queer Poems anthology with Andrew McMillan. THEY are currently a Judith E. Wilson Poetry Fellow at the University of Cambridge and on the judging panel for the Booker Prize. Their new Faber collection Bright Fear sheds light on difficult family dynamics, the migroagressions of the pandemic and the transformative power of poetry - that “quotidian tug- / of-war between terror and love”.
