Mathura is one of the most gifted writers of his generation, I find his work constitute a significant contribution to Estonian literature.

JAAN KAPLINSKI

Mathura's poetry does not attempt to be striking on the contrary, his work is composed and understated.
It is governed by wisdom and peace.
ANDRES EHIN
