Day 1: 23.11.2018

6:00 P.M. : Inauguration by Padma Bhushan Sankha Ghosh & Victor Banerjee at ‘Rotary Sadan hall’
6.15 P.M. : Inaugural address by Festival Director Tushar Dhawal Singh
                    followed by an address festival Co-Director Sonnet Mondal
6:20 P.M.:  Festival Movie
6:30 P.M. :
Poetry Readings by:
Miriam Van hee, Vladimir Martinovski, Les Wicks, Rajesh Joshi, Barbara Pogačnik, K Satchidanandan, Manglesh Dabral, Alfred Schaffer, Arun Kamal, John W. Sexton, Subodh Sarkar, Nitoo Das, Binayak Bandopadhyay, and Yekta.
(5 minutes poetry reading each poet)
8:00 P.M. : Songs of the Soil- Sufi and Bengali folk songs by Ratna Basu and team
8:30 P.M. : Vote of thanks

The program will be directed and coordinated by Sharmila Ray 


Day 2: 24.11.2018

Morning – Calcutta Bungalow
10:00 A.M.: Poetry reading and public interaction at Calcutta Bungalow
Each poet reads 2-3 poems and then the ground is open for public interaction.
10:00- 10:20 A.M.: Alfred Schaffer, John W. Sexton and Yekta
10:20-11:00 A.M.: K Satchidanandan, Les Wicks and Barbara Pogačnik
City Poets: 11:10 A.M. - 11:25 A.M. (Biswajit Chattopadhyay, Tanmoy Chakrabarty and Ujjwal Bhattacharya)
11:30 A.M.: Calcutta Heritage Walk

Evening – Sasha Studio 
7:00 P.M.: Poetry reading and public interaction at Sasha’s Studio
7:00 P.M.- 7:20 P.M.: Miriam Van hee and  Vladimir Martinovski
7:20 P.M.- 7:40 P.M.: Rajesh Joshi and Arun Kamal
7:40 P.M.- 8:00 P.M.: Nitoo Das and Binayak Bandopadhyay
8:00 P.M.- 8:20 P.M.: Manglesh Dabral and Subodh Sarkar
8:30 P.M-8:45 P.M..: Screening of selected visual poetry

From 10 A.M.: Media and Video interviews of Miriam Van hee, Vladimir Martinovski, Les Wicks, K Satchidanandan, ​Rajesh Joshi, Arun Kamal, Barbara Pogačnik,  Manglesh Dabral, Alfred Schaffer, John W. Sexton, Subodh Sarkar, Nitoo Das, Binayak Bandopadhyay, and Yekta.
​Venue:  Calcutta Bungalow
  
4 P.M. to 8 P.M.: Poetry on the Cruise (Closing Event)
Program starts at 4:30 P.M. on the cruise:
